Dive into a world of imagination and creativity at the ReadBug Children’s Literature Festival. Celebrate the joy of reading with us from June 10-12!
Readbuglitfest Childrens Book Festival was born out of a simple but powerful idea: that every child deserves to discover the joy and magic of literature
In Nigeria, many children grow up without access to books, and creative spaces that spark imagination. The pages media team came together with one shared goal—to create a festival that would open the world of reading to every child, regardless of background.
This first edition marks the beginning of a new tradition. It’s designed to bring books to life through storytelling, workshops, performances, and colorful exhibitions. The festival hopes to inspire a love for reading, celebrate Nigerian/African authors and stories, and help children see themselves reflected in the pages they turn.
Above all, it was created to remind every child that books are not just schoolwork—they’re windows to adventure, laughter, and endless possibilities.
Welcome to the very first readbuglitfest Book Festival—a place where young readers can find joy, connection, and stories that stay in their hearts.
